This tea smelt especially sweet.. probably not a tea I would enjoy drinking much but one that I’d want to keep in a jar and smell when I’m having a bad day~~

Went tea tasting free sample collecting with Shou Hwa today in Covent Garden ^-^ Ended up at home with the Cranberry & Raspberry tea I wanted to repurchase, a mid-sized glass jar, funny sticker world stickers and some skin-care (?) samples~ Oh, and loads of photos as well n__n

The skin on my left hand has been through a lot today.. first being exfoliated using dead sea – sea salt, then moisturised to then have peeling gel used on it. Walking into another store meant more products tested out on it, and so a continuous cycle of exfoliation and moisturising occurred on my left hand.. and it’s not even softer than my right hand at the moment O__o

We were going to eat cupcakes at a cupcake store for lunch (well actually, it was originally supposed to be chinese bread but we got the the store too early ><) except they turned out to be too expensive .___. So we went and got ourselves a crêpe to share ^0^

And I’m too lazy to write about the rest.. so that’s up to your own imaginations ^_____^

You wouldn’t be able to guess what’s in the jar unless I tell you.. ? And no, I’m not talking about the hamster~

It’s not glitter, icing sugar or even snow.. It’s aspirin.. ^^ which we made during a chemistry practical and I thought the mother-of-pearl ’white crystalline solid’ would look pretty in a glass jar~// The girl is supposed to be laying down in the snow~ not dizzy because of an aspirin overdose .___.

An update on my ’2013 Jar of Happy Moments’ – it’s filling up and looking pretty now!! It’s not quite as full as I was expecting but I’m quite picky with what goes in there.. I folded some notes in weird shapes to make it interesting ^0^//

Yeah, I know.. I use the most random photos in the most random posts.. >< Only person to blame is me for taking such weird photos leading to a lack of choice ._____. 

The thing that bothers me now though, is that I feel like I do give you an opinion.. my straightforward and honest opinion on whatever subject we are having an in-depth conversation about. ‘It’s not enough’ – you say.. maybe, but I kinda feel like even though my brain and heart are completely emptied out that you guys all think I have more opinions and thoughts left over..

Maybe I’m being too harsh.. I don’t mean to be annoying or rude.. my opinions always come out like this though.. and maybe that’s why you think I’m not telling you everything? Because I take a  few minutes to organise my thoughts together – to put it into a sequence understandable to other human beings.. and in the nicest way possible..

Which leads to another thing.. when I do give out opinions quickly, everyone looks at me like I’m the strangest person on Earth and I’ve just come up with the most ridiculous idea – which I probably have.. but that’s how you’re getting it.. 唔洗轉彎抹角 or anything.

Oh.. and another reason for my silence is.. I just have no idea what to think of the topic.. like nothing.. blank.. 멍~ Also, I’d like to add that I feel as though you know as much of my thoughts as I do of your thoughts.. so do bear that in mind .___.

And yes.. I did think of deleting this whole post after writing it but whatever.. I know you all judge based on my blog anyway so not like this matters.. you wanted my opinion after all.. *__*

Had a break finish on Wednesday and instead of doing work I spent a while finding a recipe for garaeddeok that didn’t require frozen short grain rice flour.. and in the end gave up and started mixing random ingredients together based on what I’d read..

I think by mixing long grain rice flour and glutinous rice flour the texture came out a bit funny.. not as chewy as it should’ve been? But it was still tasty ^-^ To make the ddeokbokki, I substituted hot pepper paste with a packet of spicy ramyun soup base mixed with various things such as honey and lemon juice XD I wasn’t expecting the sauce to actually thicken due to my weird rice cakes but it did

So yeah.. my first attempt at cooking something Korean.. ^0^//

There are a lot of things in life that look amazing and beautiful, things we could stare at for hours on end.. like these lanterns for example. We admire the bright mosaic patterns that shine through the lamp but we forget the beauty behind the basic light-bulb. And this is what we do when judging people by their aesthetics.. we forget that the more important features are the characteristics and personalities.

.. Though it’s fair to say that we can sometimes see a person’s personality through their appearance, someone wearing scruffy clothes doesn’t mean they don’t care about things.. dressing up smart does not give that person manners.. and wearing a hood does not mean that person is about to mug you.

What would a world be like where there was no judging purely by appearance.. happier..? more truthful.. ? Will relationships be stronger? .. but without those that judge by appearance.. where will our world of entertainment go? And when will we see more innovations in the world of design? .. we’ll never know..
